Acceptance of terms

By creating an account or using KOLCaster (the app and kolcaster.com), you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Accounts & security

Keep your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate registration information and notify us of unauthorized access. You may sign in with email, Google, or Apple where those options are offered. You are responsible for activity under your account.

Creator responsibilities

You are responsible for the content you publish, including podcasts and live room discussions. Do not upload unlawful, harmful, harassing, or infringing material. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms or applicable law.

Coins, gifts, and virtual items

KOLCaster uses coins (also called stars) that you can purchase and send as gifts in live rooms.

Coins have no cash value outside the service except where we expressly allow creator withdrawals of earned balances. Purchased coins are generally non-refundable except where required by law or stated at checkout. We may change coin packages, pricing, bonuses, or gift catalogs from time to time.

Creator earnings and platform fee

When listeners gift coins to a host or podcaster in a live room, a portion of the gift’s value may be credited to that creator as withdrawable earnings.

KOLCaster charges a platform fee on creator gift earnings. The fee percentage is set by us in the admin console and may be changed from time to time. The fee is deducted when the gift is processed, before earnings are added to the creator’s balance. Creators receive the remaining share (for example, a 20% platform fee means creators keep 80% of that gift’s earnings value).

Coin tallies shown for gifts received may reflect the full gift amount for engagement, while cash-equivalent earnings reflect the amount after the platform fee. The current fee rate is controlled by KOLCaster and is not individually negotiated in the app.

Withdrawals and payouts

Creators may request withdrawal of available earnings subject to a minimum amount and any identity or payout-method requirements we set (for example bank via Stripe Connect, Mobile Money, or PayPal).

Withdrawal requests are reviewed and paid manually. We may ask for payment destination details and may attach payment evidence for our records. Processing times vary. We may refuse, delay, or reverse payouts suspected of fraud, abuse, chargebacks, or terms violations. You are responsible for providing accurate payout details and for any taxes owed on earnings you receive.

Subscriptions & payments

Paid Premium plans renew according to the billing cycle you select, unless you cancel before renewal. Refund policies for subscriptions and coin purchases are described at checkout and may differ by payment provider (such as Stripe or Paystack) and by app store rules where applicable.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Service. The “updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of KOLCaster after an update means you accept the revised terms. Material changes to fees or earnings may also be reflected in the product or admin-configured rates described above.
